Christ's Peace for Every Human Life

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Matthew 5:9 (NIV)

Hungering for Change...

Welcome to the Baptist Center for Global Concerns! We invite you to browse our pages, become familiar with what we are doing, and join us in the greatest adventure of all—investing in the lives of human beings for the glory of God.

The Baptist Center for Global Concerns is rooted in two core values: God's peace and the value of all human life across the entire spectrum, from the unborn to the most aged of persons. We believe that these values are evident across all cultures and in many belief systems. We derive our commitment to these ideals from the Christian Scriptures and humbly seek to practice them in relationship with Jesus Christ, who provides the moral authority for ethical action. We partner with like-minded individuals and organizations dedicated to Christ's peace and the protection of human life.

This ethics and leadership organization is founded upon the Lordship of Christ, the Word of God, and the call to demonstrate our family attachment to the Father through peacemaking (Matthew 5:9). The Center is anchored by four main “ought to do’s,” or ethical obligations, that emerge from within our callings and spiritual gifts. We educate (Matthew 28:18-20, “teaching them”), feed (Mathew 14:16 “You give them something to eat”), strengthen (Matthew 25:36, “when I was sick”), and share Christ (Acts 1:8, “shall be my witnesses”) with the underserved wherever the Lord may send us (Leviticus 19:18). We do not count these pillars only as expressions of social justice but as Christ’s love in action as empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, we invite individuals, churches, groups, and educational entities to join with us as we seek better to understand, train ourselves, and engage the great moral concerns that rob humanity of God's peace.
